Offaly Volunteer Centre are seeking to appoint a
DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Offaly Volunteer Centre was established to promote volunteering and
civic participation in Co. Offaly with a focus on developing a high
quality Volunteer Centre to serve volunteers and community and
voluntary sector groups.
The Development Officer is responsible for assisting in the delivery
of an accessible and quality-focused volunteer placement service
across Co. Offaly; by recruiting, matching and supporting volunteers
through the placement process.
The Development Officer will also offer supports to local
volunteer-involving organisations including advertising their
vacancies, referring potential volunteers and advising on best
practice.
In line with the Volunteer Centre Quality Standards Framework, quality
checks on data as well as a focus on systems (Salesforce) management
will also be a key part of the role; ensuring everyone gets a
quality-centred service.
